Kids Program

Our Rock ’N’ Kids program for children aged 6 to 12 was started during 2025. It involves monthly sessions during which children who are members of The Sudbury Rock and Lapidary Society and their adult “Rock Buddy” can learn about all things rock and lapidary. The children learn collectively in a safe and secure environment by handling rocks, minerals and fossils; doing rock-related crafts; using hand tools; and going on field trips.
